Connecting NT Musicians
Adelaide tour 2011
Hi everyone
I have been talking to Music NT about running 'Long Way to the Top End' again in 2011 to take NT bands to the 2011 Fuse Festival in Adelaide (February / March 2011, dates to be announced).
We would like to apply for some funding to make sure that all musicians get paid Music NT recommended rates for performances, however before we do this we need to know if there is enough interest for the event to happen again.
If you think you might be interested in joining a group of us heading to the Adelaide Fuse Festival in February / March 2011, please let the folks at Music NT or myself know, either by the Music NT forum, email (alice@countrytowncollective.com) or telephone (Music NT - 8981 1995; Alice - 0417887613)
If there is enough interest we will call a meeting to run through a few details.
One thing we would really like is to have bands from everywhere in the NT involved - so wherever you are, let us know.
Also- any bands that are ex-Darwin and now based interstate are more than welcome to be a part of it.
We only have a few weeks to get the first funding application together, so please let us know asap. Even if you're not sure at this stage but just would like more info about it.
