Long Way To The Top End Tour 2009 - pics!!

Some great stuff came out of the Long Way To The Top End Tour - great music, friendships, industry contacts, fun, gigs - and photos!! Darwinites Deb Husdson and local photgrapher Zephyr Green were part of the Top End contingent to the Adelaide Fringe gigs at the Wheatsheaf Hotel. They spent a lot of their time documenting the gigs and shenanigans... Many thanks to both of them for donating their photos to the Music NT Site - check them out!

Without doubt, one of the NT’s most well-loved and well-known original music bands is roymackonkey. In the best sense they’ve “been around”, “been there, done that” and have "been back for more” after moving Down South for a few years playing the Melbourne music circuit for the ‘educational’ experience. i sing various types of music including rock, pop and classical. i am from Darwin and i have not performed. i only performed at the Pints club, when the band asked me to come up onto the stage and sing.
